The aim of the gardening Society is to promote good horticultural practices among its members.
To this aim we organize lectures usually on the second Wednesday of each month from October to April in the village hall at 7.30pm.

We also arrange visits to gardens and events during the summer months and have a gardening competition during the summer. This competition is purely for fun and can take a number of different formats.
We try to improve the general appearance of the village by, for example, planting spring bulbs along the verges.
It is envisaged that there will also be a facility for seed and cutting swapping for anyone interested in taking part.
One of the highlights of the year is the Christmas Party which is always very well attended and enjoyed by all (particularly the singing!!).
